Kate Spade New York seeks a temporary Style Advisor at Toronto Premium Outlets in Halton Hills, Ontario to deliver expert styling and sales support.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and demonstrate confident product knowledge across handbags, ready-to-wear, jewelry, footwear, and home décor categories
- Actively listen to customer needs and ask insightful follow-up questions to provide tailored styling recommendations
- Provide styling advice, suggest complementary items, and create complete looks to encourage larger purchases
- Use creativity and storytelling to showcase multiple ways to wear products and inspire customers to explore new styles
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless point-of-sale checkout experience
- Reinforce customer choices and invite repeat visits through exceptional service and rapport-building
- Drive sales results through strong customer connections and demonstrate deep brand and product knowledge
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, inventory management, and accurate POS transactions
- Support omni-channel and virtual selling techniques as the business evolves
- Provide and receive constructive feedback to support continuous team improvement
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively within a team
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- English proficiency (or local language proficiency per market)
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally)
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, busy seasons, and high-traffic retail days including public holidays
