Role & Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and confidently, demonstrating strong product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
• Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs and preferences
• Provide tailored styling advice and suggest complementary add-ons to create complete looks
• Showcase multiple ways to wear products and encourage customers to explore new styles
• Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience
• Reinforce and celebrate customer choices, inviting repeat visits
• Drive results through strong customer connections and brand storytelling
• Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, merchandising, and POS transactions
• Develop and apply social media awareness and omnichannel selling techniques
• Work flexible schedules to meet business needs, including nights, weekends, peak seasons, and public holidays

Qualifications

• Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
• Prior experience in a retail environment
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team setting
• Strong product knowledge and ability to demonstrate deep understanding of brand attributes
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom
• Competencies including Courage, Creativity, Customer Focus, Dealing with Ambiguity, Drive for Results, Interpersonal Savvy, and Learning on the Fly

Prior experience in a retail environment is required. Candidates should demonstrate professional selling skills and familiarity with customer-facing retail operations.

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17.60 to CAD 22 per hour.
