Kate Spade New York seeks a part-time Sales Associate (Stylist) in Hagerstown, MD — customer-facing retail role at Hagerstown Premium Outlets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised customer service and styling advice to guide purchase decisions and create complete looks.
- Greet guests, develop rapport, actively listen to needs and use storytelling to drive conversion and average transaction value.
- Demonstrate deep product knowledge across categories and showcase multiple ways to wear and combine items.
- Execute POS transactions, manage checkout experience and ensure sales accuracy.
- Maintain operational standards including stockroom organisation, inventory replenishment and visual presentation.
- Adopt omnichannel selling techniques (virtual selling) and leverage social media awareness to engage customers.
- Support loss prevention, adhere to safety and ADA accommodation procedures, and perform light to moderate physical tasks.
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior retail or customer-facing sales experience.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise work and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Comfort with omnichannel selling tools and social media engagement.
- Ability to lift regularly at least 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs; able to climb, bend and manoeuvre sales floor and stockroom.

Experience
Prior retail or customer-facing sales experience is required; demonstrated ability to build customer relationships and achieve sales outcomes is expected.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary study in fashion, merchandising or a related field preferred.
