Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently, demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer aesthetic preferences and lifestyle needs
- Provide expert styling advice, suggest complementary items, and create complete looks that showcase product versatility
- Drive sales results through compelling storytelling and strong customer connections
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure seamless checkout experiences
- Maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organization, inventory management, and accurate POS transactions
- Execute flexible scheduling to meet business needs, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak retail periods
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices, fostering loyalty and encouraging repeat visits
- Demonstrate willingness to learn and apply omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- Give and receive constructive feedback in a professional, honest manner
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively within a team setting
- Proficiency in English
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and high-traffic retail periods
- Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly (up to 50 lbs. occasionally), and to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver the sales floor and stockroom
