Role & Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and confidently while demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen to customer needs and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand preferences and lifestyle requirements
- Provide personalized styling advice, suggest complementary items, and create complete coordinated looks
- Showcase multiple styling applications to encourage customers to explore and embrace new styles
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless, frictionless checkout experience
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices, fostering brand loyalty and encouraging repeat visits
- Drive sales results through authentic customer connections, compelling storytelling, and product demonstrations
- Maintain deep brand knowledge and articulate product attributes, quality, and heritage across all collections
- Execute operational excellence including stockroom organization, inventory management, and accurate point-of-sale transactions
- Give and receive constructive feedback in an honest, professional manner
- Learn and apply omni-channel and virtual selling techniques to expand customer reach
- Perform physical duties including lifting, climbing, bending, kneeling, and maneuvering the sales floor and stockroom
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively within a team setting
- English proficiency (or local language proficiency as required by market)
- Physical ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally)
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, busy seasons, and high-traffic retail days including public holidays
- Demonstrated social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques

Experience
Prior experience in a retail environment, with demonstrated success in customer-facing roles and sales-driven environments.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

The successful candidate will be located in Clinton, Connecticut, United States of America, with easy access to New York.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
