Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating strong product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Listen actively and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer aesthetic preferences and lifestyle needs
- Provide personalized styling advice, suggest complementary items, and create complete looks that encourage exploration of the brand
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience using POS systems
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, inventory management, and sales floor upkeep
- Drive sales results through strong customer connections, storytelling, and brand narrative
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices to foster loyalty and encourage repeat visits
- Demonstrate flexibility to work nights, weekends, busy seasons, and high-traffic retail days including public holidays
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a retail or luxury goods environment
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and peak retail periods
- Capacity to lift at least 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally; ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
- English proficiency
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
