Kate Spade seeks a Part-time Sales Associate in Bloomington, MN (Mall of America) to deliver personalised styling and drive sales in-store.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and build trust through informed, confident product advice and styling guidance.
- Provide personalised styling and complete-look recommendations that connect Kate Spade products to customers’ lifestyles.
- Drive sales through storytelling, suggest add-ons, and convert styling interactions into purchases.
- Manage point-of-sale transactions and ensure a seamless checkout experience for customers.
- Maintain operational excellence on the sales floor and in the stockroom, including organization and inventory handling.
- Demonstrate multiple ways to wear and use products to inspire exploration and repeat visits.
- Work collaboratively with the store team, accept and provide constructive feedback, and support visual presentation standards.
- Adhere to schedule requirements, including nights, weekends, holidays and peak retail periods; perform light to moderate physical tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally).
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior experience in a retail environment.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise responsibilities, and work effectively within a team.
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel/virtual selling techniques.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and high-traffic days.
- Ability to lift regularly at least 25 lbs and up to 50 lbs occasionally; comfortable climbing, bending and kneeling on the sales floor.

Experience
Prior experience in a retail environment is required; experience providing styling or personalised shopping advice is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

The successful candidate will be located in Bloomington, Minnesota, USA, with easy access to Minneapolis.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
