Kate Spade New York Sales Associate position in Blackwood, NJ. Deliver styling expertise and customer service across luxury handbags, apparel, and lifestyle collections.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs and lifestyle preferences
- Provide personalized styling advice, suggest complementary products, and create complete looks that encourage exploration of new styles
- Drive sales results through authentic customer connections and compelling brand storytelling
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure seamless point-of-sale transactions
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, inventory management, and sales floor merchandising
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of brand heritage, product attributes, and seasonal collections
- Give and receive constructive feedback in an honest, professional manner
- Support omni-channel and virtual selling techniques while building social media awareness
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices while inviting them to return
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team setting
- Proficiency in English
- Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly (up to 50 lbs. occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom
- Willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- Social media awareness and digital fluency
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, busy seasons, and high-traffic retail days including public holidays
