Kate Spade seeks a part-time Sales Associate in Atlantic City, NJ. Join the Kate Spade boutique at Tanger Outlets as a client-focused stylist and retail professional.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and build rapport; assess customer needs through active listening and thoughtful questions.
  • Provide personalised styling advice and assemble complete looks that integrate Kate Spade product categories.
  • Drive sales through storytelling, effective product presentation and suggestive selling of add‑ons and complementary items.
  • Deliver exceptional client service through omni‑channel engagement, including in‑store, virtual selling and social media touchpoints.
  • Execute point‑of‑sale transactions accurately and ensure a seamless checkout experience.
  • Maintain operational excellence: organise the sales floor and stockroom, conduct visual merchandising resets, and manage inventory replenishment.
  • Accept and give constructive feedback; contribute to a collaborative team environment and store performance goals.
  • Perform physical tasks required by retail operations, including lifting up to 25 lbs regularly (occasionally up to 50 lbs), bending, climbing and stockroom manoeuvring.

Qualifications

  • Proven professional selling skills and strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Prior retail experience, preferably in fashion, accessories or lifestyle brands.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritise and work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Social media awareness and willingness to adopt omni‑channel and virtual selling techniques.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, peak retail periods and public holidays as required.
  • Ability to safely lift and handle merchandise as described in the job posting.

Experience

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
