Kate Spade New York seeks a Sales Assistant in Bicester, UK to deliver personalised styling, drive sales and support omnichannel retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage customers warmly, demonstrating confident product knowledge and brand storytelling.
- Provide personalised styling advice, compose complete looks and suggest complementary items to increase basket size.
- Execute sales transactions and ensure a smooth checkout experience using store POS systems.
- Maintain operational standards including stockroom organisation, merchandising and inventory replenishment.
- Adopt omni-channel selling behaviours (including virtual selling) and promote the brand across social media when appropriate.
- Support team targets through proactive customer outreach, follow-up and relationship building to encourage repeat visits.
Qualifications
- Proven professional selling skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior experience working in a retail environment, preferably within fashion or lifestyle brands.
- Comfortable multitasking and prioritising in a fast-paced team setting.
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni/virtual selling techniques.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, busy seasons and public holidays.
- Fluent in English (or the local language for the market).

Experience
Previous retail sales experience with a track record of customer-facing selling; experience in fashion or accessory categories is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
