Kate Spade New York seeks a part-time Sales & Stock Associate in Honolulu, Hawaii. $15.00–$24.25/hour plus benefits.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and confidently while demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen to customer needs and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand personal style preferences
- Provide personalized styling advice, suggest complementary add-ons, and create complete coordinated looks
- Showcase multiple styling applications and encourage customers to explore new products and combinations
- Guide customers through the purchase decision process and ensure a seamless checkout experience
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices while extending invitations to return
- Drive sales results through authentic customer connections, storytelling, and brand narrative
- Maintain deep knowledge of brand heritage, product attributes, and seasonal collections
- Ensure operational excellence through accurate point-of-sale transactions and stockroom organization
- Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to learn omnichannel and virtual selling techniques
- Provide and receive feedback in a constructive, honest manner
- Meet physical requirements including lifting (25 lbs regularly, up to 50 lbs occasionally), climbing, bending, kneeling, and navigating the sales floor and stockroom
Qualifications
- Proven professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior retail environment experience required
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and collaborate effectively within a team
- English proficiency or local market language proficiency
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, busy seasons, and high-traffic retail days
- Physical capability to lift minimum 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
Skills
Experience
Prior experience in a retail sales environment is required. Experience with styling and personal shopping is strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; no formal educational requirement specified.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
