Kate Spade Stylist (Sales Associate III) in Smithfield, NC at Carolina Premium Outlets. Part-time retail role. $15.00–$19.25/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge
- Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs and preferences
- Provide personalized styling advice and suggest product combinations to create complete looks
- Showcase multiple ways to wear products and encourage customers to explore new styles
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure seamless checkout experiences
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices while inviting repeat visits
- Drive sales through strong customer connections and compelling brand storytelling
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization and point-of-sale transactions
- Give and receive constructive feedback in a professional manner
- Support omnichannel selling techniques including social media and virtual consultations
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a team setting
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omnichannel and virtual selling techniques
- English language proficiency
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally)
- Ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver the sales floor and stockroom
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, busy seasons, and public holidays as needed
Skills
Experience
Prior experience working in a retail environment with demonstrated professional selling skills and customer engagement.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

This position is based in Smithfield, North Carolina, USA, within easy reach of Raleigh.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.25 per hour.
