Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs and preferences
- Provide personalized styling advice, suggest complementary add-ons, and create coordinated complete looks
- Showcase multiple styling approaches and encourage customers to explore new ways to incorporate products into their wardrobes
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience
- Reinforce customer choices and cultivate repeat business through positive reinforcement
- Drive sales results through authentic customer connections and compelling brand storytelling
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, inventory management, and POS transactions
- Demonstrate proficiency with omnichannel and virtual selling techniques as needed
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a retail sales environment
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team setting
- Awareness of social media platforms and willingness to learn omnichannel and virtual selling techniques
- English proficiency (or French proficiency per Quebec market requirements)
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly, up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, busy seasons, and retail-intensive days including public holidays
- Physical capability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver throughout sales floor and stockroom
Skills
Experience
Prior retail sales experience required. Experience in luxury or contemporary fashion retail, personal styling, or customer-facing advisory roles strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent. Additional training in fashion, merchandising, or customer service is advantageous.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17.60 to CAD 22 per hour.
