Role & Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests and establish rapport; deliver personalised styling advice to help customers build complete looks and integrate Kate Spade pieces into their wardrobes.
  • Actively listen and ask probing questions to identify customer needs, recommend add-ons and alternative styling options, and close sales through consultative storytelling.
  • Maintain deep product knowledge across categories and communicate product attributes and brand DNA with confidence.
  • Execute omni-channel selling activities, including virtual selling and social media-driven engagement, to convert and retain customers.
  • Manage POS transactions and ensure a seamless checkout experience while maintaining operational standards on the sales floor.
  • Maintain stockroom organisation, visual presentation and inventory readiness to support sales and merchandising needs.
  • Provide and receive constructive feedback; collaborate with the team to achieve store sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Perform routine physical tasks required by the role, including lifting up to 25 lbs regularly (occasionally up to 50 lbs), climbing, bending and manoeuvring store and stockroom areas.
  • Work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak retail periods and public holidays as required by store operations.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable professional selling skills with excellent interpersonal and verbal communication.
  • Prior experience in a retail environment; proven ability to drive results through customer relationships.
  • Ability to prioritise, multitask and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Social media awareness and willingness to develop omni-channel and virtual selling capabilities.
  • English proficiency (or local market language proficiency) and the capacity to adapt to local customer needs.
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the role (lifting, standing, navigating stockroom).

Experience
