Kate Spade Retail Supervisor in Tinton Falls, NJ — lead sales teams, drive KPIs and manage store operations at Jersey Shore Premium Outlets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead sales-floor activity to achieve personal and store KPI targets; analyze performance metrics and implement best practices to improve results and efficiency.
- Champion client development and retention through proactive outreach, VIP servicing and exemplary after-sales care.
- Model and coach kate spade service behaviours on the floor—greeting, needs discovery and relationship-building—to elevate team selling performance.
- Recruit, onboard and develop sales staff; provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback and advocacy for team members.
- Execute and supervise opening/closing procedures, cash handling, bank deposits, register operations and key-holding responsibilities.
- Oversee inventory processes including POS transactions, transfers, receiving, shipments, repairs and damage reconciliation to preserve inventory integrity.
- Maintain an organised stockroom and ensure timely replenishment to maximise availability on the sales floor.
- Drive omni-channel and virtual selling initiatives (including live-stream shopping) and lead customer data capture to grow loyalty.
- Promote brand-safe social media engagement and maintain awareness of platform trends relevant to store marketing.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years in a retail service environment in a management or floor leadership role; luxury or premium retail experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; detail-oriented, proactive, and able to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Social media literacy with an understanding of platform trends and brand-safe engagement.
- Comfortable using omni-channel/virtual selling tools and clienteling systems.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays; ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs).
- Key-holding and cash-handling accountability with adherence to operational and compliance standards.
Skills
Experience
At least 2 years of leadership or floor-supervisory experience in retail, preferably within luxury or premium brands, with demonstrated ability to coach teams, meet sales KPIs and manage daily store operations.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary coursework or an associate degree in business, retail management or a related field preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 16 to USD 24.75 per hour.
