Kate Spade is hiring a Retail Supervisor in Tannersville, PA to lead sales, clienteling and operations at The Crossings Premium Outlets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive personal and team sales performance to achieve store KPIs; analyse metrics and implement best practices to improve results and efficiency.
- Build and maintain client relationships through proactive outreach and Kate Spade service standards; lead initiatives to grow repeat business and VIP retention.
- Model the brand’s service behaviours on the sales floor—greeting, needs discovery and consultative selling—to elevate customer experience.
- Coach and develop the sales team: support recruitment, onboarding, training, goal-setting and performance feedback.
- Provide operational leadership for opening/closing procedures, cash handling, bank deposits, register operations and key-holding responsibilities.
- Oversee POS transactions and inventory functions (receiving, transfers, repairs, damage reporting) to preserve inventory integrity.
- Maintain an organised stockroom and direct timely replenishment to ensure availability on the sales floor.
- Lead omni-channel and virtual selling activities, including live-stream shopping and customer data capture for loyalty growth.
- Promote brand-safe social media engagement and awareness of retail and platform trends.
- Perform routine physical duties including lifting (regularly up to 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs) and manoeuvring the sales floor and stockroom.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a retail service environment in a management or floor leadership role; luxury or premium retail experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; detail-oriented with the ability to prioritise and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Demonstrated social media literacy and familiarity with platform trends.
- Comfortable using omni-channel/virtual selling tools and clienteling systems.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays; key-holder capability.
- Ability to lift and handle merchandise as specified (regularly 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs).
Skills
Experience
At least two years in a retail sales environment with demonstrable experience in floor leadership or first-line management; luxury or premium retail preferred. A combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; combination of education and experience will be considered.
