The Retail Supervisor supports store leadership at Kate Spade in Orlando, Florida, driving sales and KPIs, client development, team coaching, and operational excellence. The role includes floor supervision, key-holder duties, inventory and omnichannel selling; the base pay range is $16.00–$24.75 per hour.

Role & Responsibilities

• Support store leadership by creating a customer-first, high-energy sales environment and providing exceptional floor supervision.
• Drive store productivity and profitability through team building, coaching, goal setting, client development, and adherence to Kate Spade New York standards.
• Act as a brand ambassador, lead by example, and elevate service, selling behaviours, and operational excellence on the sales floor.
• Drive personal sales while leading the team to achieve sales and KPI targets; analyse metrics and implement best practices to improve results and efficiency.
• Build client relationships through proactive outreach and Kate Spade service standards; ensure exceptional in-store and after-sales experiences; drive repeat business and VIP retention.
• Model Kate Spade service behaviours—meeting and greeting customers and creating conversations—to build relationships and discover client needs.
• Coach the team on goals and performance; support recruitment, onboarding, role modelling, and ongoing development and training.
• Provide store leadership with feedback on individual performance and development needs, and advocate for the team.
• Foster an inclusive, equitable, and diverse culture that enables teams to thrive authentically.
• Perform and supervise opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, bank deposits, register operations, and securing the facility as a key holder.
• Process POS transactions and inventory functions accurately, including transfers, receiving, shipments, repairs, and damages, to maintain inventory integrity.
• Maintain an organised stockroom and direct timely replenishment to ensure product availability on the sales floor.
• Drive omnichannel and virtual selling initiatives, including livestream shopping.
• Promote brand-safe social media engagement and awareness of trends.
• Lead customer data capture to grow loyalty and repeat purchases.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a retail service environment in a management or floor leadership role; luxury, premium, or comparable retail experience is preferred.
• A combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; detail-oriented, proactive, and able to multitask and prioritise effectively.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff and confidently navigate the sales floor.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Social media literacy and understanding of platform trends.
• Comfort with omnichannel and virtual selling tools and clienteling systems.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including nights, weekends, peak busy season, high-traffic retail days, and public holidays.
• Ability to regularly lift at least 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs, and to climb, bend, kneel, and manoeuvre around the sales floor and stockroom.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 16 to USD 24.75 per hour.
