Kate Spade New York seeks a Retail Supervisor in North Conway, NH. Full-time role driving sales, coaching teams, and ensuring operational and omni-channel excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive personal sales and lead the store team to achieve sales targets and KPIs through metric analysis and implementation of best practices.
- Develop and maintain client relationships via proactive outreach, brand-standard service behaviors, and retention activities for VIP and repeat customers.
- Model Kate Spade service culture on the sales floor—greet, engage, discover needs, and translate conversations into sales opportunities.
- Coach, mentor, and develop retail staff; support recruitment, onboarding, performance feedback, and individual development plans.
- Execute and supervise operational procedures including opening/closing, cash handling, bank deposits, register operations, and key-holding responsibilities.
- Oversee POS transactions and inventory functions (receiving, transfers, shipments, repairs, damages) to preserve inventory integrity.
- Maintain organized stockroom and direct timely replenishment to ensure product availability on the sales floor.
- Lead omni-channel and virtual selling initiatives (including live-stream shopping) and ensure accurate customer data capture to grow loyalty.
- Promote brand-safe social media engagement and awareness of platform trends to support store marketing and client acquisition.
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and equitable team environment aligned with brand competencies and people-management standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a retail service environment in a management or floor‑leadership role; luxury or premium retail preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; detail-oriented and able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Comfortable using POS systems, clienteling systems, and omni-channel/virtual selling tools.
- Social media literacy and an understanding of platform trends to support in‑store marketing and client engagement.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays; key-holder availability.
- Ability to lift regularly at least 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs, and to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver throughout sales floor and stockroom.

Experience
At least 2 years of experience in retail floor leadership or management, with proven sales performance, team coaching, and operational oversight; background in luxury or premium retail strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education or retail/management training preferred. A combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 16 to USD 24.75 per hour.
