Role & Responsibilities

  • Drive personal and team sales performance toward KPI targets; analyze metrics and implement best practices to improve results and operational efficiency
  • Build and maintain client relationships through proactive outreach and Kate Spade service standards; ensure exceptional in-store and after-sales experiences
  • Model brand service behaviors including greeting clients, creating conversations, and facilitating needs discovery to strengthen customer relationships
  • Coach team members on performance goals and sales excellence; support recruitment, onboarding, role modeling, and ongoing training
  • Provide performance feedback to store leadership; advocate for team development and foster inclusive, equitable, and diverse workplace culture
  • Perform and supervise opening and closing procedures including cash handling, bank deposits, POS operations, and facility security with key-holding responsibilities
  • Process POS transactions accurately and manage inventory functions including transfers, receiving, shipments, repairs, and damage documentation
  • Organize and maintain stockroom; direct timely replenishment to ensure product availability on the sales floor
  • Drive omni-channel and virtual selling initiatives including live-stream shopping; promote brand-safe social media engagement
  • Lead customer data capture initiatives to grow loyalty program participation and drive repeat purchases

Qualifications

  • 2+ years retail service experience in a management or floor leadership role (luxury or premium retail preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Social media literacy and understanding of platform trends
  • Comfort with omni-channel and virtual selling tools; familiarity with clienteling systems
  • Physical ability to lift 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
