Role & Responsibilities

  • Drive personal sales performance while coaching team members to achieve sales and KPI targets; analyze metrics and implement best practices to improve results and efficiency
  • Build and maintain client relationships through proactive outreach aligned with Kate Spade service standards; ensure exceptional in-store and after-sales experiences; lead loyalty and VIP retention initiatives
  • Model Kate Spade service behaviors and brand ambassadorship on the sales floor; lead by example in creating conversations and discovering customer needs
  • Coach team members on performance goals and development; support recruitment, onboarding, role modeling, and ongoing training activities
  • Provide performance feedback to store leadership on individual team members and identify development opportunities; advocate for the team
  • Foster an inclusive, equitable, and diverse workplace culture that empowers team members to thrive authentically
  • Perform and supervise opening and closing procedures: cash handling, bank deposits, register operations, key-holding, and facility security
  • Accurately process POS transactions and manage inventory functions including transfers, receiving, shipments, repairs, and damage documentation to maintain inventory integrity
  • Maintain organized stockroom; direct timely replenishment to ensure product availability on the sales floor
  • Drive omni-channel and virtual selling initiatives, including live-stream shopping and digital engagement
  • Promote brand-safe social media engagement; monitor platform trends and build brand awareness
  • Lead customer data capture initiatives to grow loyalty programs and repeat purchases

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of retail service or management experience in a leadership or floor-facing role; luxury, premium, or comparable retail experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales performance and manage KPIs in a retail environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff
  • Comfortable navigating sales floor operations and confidently engaging with diverse customer types
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Social media literacy and understanding of platform trends
  • Comfort with omni-channel and virtual selling tools; familiarity with clienteling systems
  • Strong English language proficiency
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom areas
