Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the store sales team to achieve daily and monthly sales targets while delivering exemplary customer service and clienteling.
  • Oversee the sales floor in the store manager's absence, ensuring consistent adherence to brand standards and merchandising directives.
  • Coach, train and develop sales associates through on-the-floor feedback, formal training sessions and performance reviews.

  • Organise staff schedules, approve timekeeping and ensure adequate floor coverage for peak trading periods and events.
  • Execute visual merchandising plans and maintain presentation standards to reflect seasonal campaigns and retail directives.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and probation processes; escalate staffing decisions and disciplinary issues to store management as required.
  • Analyse basic sales KPIs and feedback to the store manager, proposing corrective actions to improve conversion, average transaction value and retention.

Qualifications

  • Proven supervisory experience in retail, preferably within fashion or luxury accessories.
  • Demonstrable ability to coach and develop frontline sales teams to meet commercial objectives.
  • Strong numeracy and basic administrative competence for rostering, cash reconciliation and stock control.
  • High standard of personal presentation and a clear understanding of luxury brand service expectations.
  • Flexible availability to work retail hours, including evenings, weekends and peak holiday periods.

Experience
