Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the sales floor to achieve personal and store KPIs; analyze sales metrics and implement best practices to improve results and efficiency.
- Deliver exemplary clienteling and after‑sales service; execute proactive outreach to drive repeat business and VIP retention.
- Model Kate Spade service behaviors: greet, create conversation, uncover needs and close with exceptional customer experience.
- Coach, develop and motivate the store team; support recruitment, onboarding and performance feedback processes.
- Perform and supervise opening/closing procedures, cash handling, bank deposits, register operations and secure the facility (key‑holding responsibilities).
- Manage POS and inventory functions — transfers, receiving, shipments, repairs and damages — to maintain inventory integrity.
- Maintain an organized stockroom and direct timely replenishment to ensure product availability on the sales floor.
- Drive omni‑channel and virtual selling initiatives, promote brand‑safe social engagement, and lead customer data capture to grow loyalty.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a retail service environment in a management or floor leadership role; luxury or premium retail experience preferred.
- Proven ability to lead and coach a retail team, support recruitment and provide constructive performance feedback.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; detail‑oriented, proactive and able to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Social media literacy and awareness of platform trends; comfortable using omni‑channel/virtual selling tools and clienteling systems.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and peak retail periods.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and perform routine physical tasks on the sales floor and in the stockroom.

Experience
At least 2 years in retail leadership or floor supervision; candidates with luxury or premium retail experience preferred. A combination of relevant education and demonstrable retail experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; combination of education and retail leadership experience considered.
