Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and model exceptional customer service and brand behaviours on the sales floor, setting the tone for client interactions and needs discovery.
  • Drive personal and store sales performance; analyse KPIs and implement best practices to meet and exceed targets.
  • Coach, develop and mentor store staff; support recruitment, onboarding and ongoing training to build a high-performing team.
  • Supervise daily operational tasks including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, bank deposits, register operations and key-holding responsibilities.
  • Manage inventory processes — receiving, transfers, shipments, repairs and damages — and maintain an organised stockroom with timely replenishment to ensure product availability.
  • Lead omni-channel and virtual selling initiatives (including live-stream shopping) and champion customer data capture to grow loyalty and repeat business.
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards, loss-prevention procedures and health & safety requirements on the sales floor and in the stockroom.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a retail service environment in a management or floor leadership role; luxury or premium retail preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach and motivate teams to achieve sales and KPI targets.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, detail-oriented, able to prioritise and multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Comfort with key-holding duties and physically able to lift up to 25 lbs regularly (occasionally up to 50 lbs) and perform bending, kneeling and stockroom tasks.
  • Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays as business needs require.

Experience

At least two years of supervisory or floor leadership experience in a retail environment, with demonstrable results in coaching teams, achieving sales targets and executing operational procedures. Luxury or premium retail background preferred; combination of formal education and practical experience will be considered.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or some college coursework in retail management or related fields preferred. A combination of education and relevant retail experience is acceptable.
