Kate Spade in Central Valley, NY (Woodbury Common) seeks a Retail Supervisor to lead the sales floor, drive KPIs and develop client relationships.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead daily sales-floor operations, model brand service behaviours and maintain a high-energy, client-first environment.
- Drive personal sales and coach the team to achieve store sales targets and key performance indicators through metric analysis and best-practice deployment.
- Develop and maintain client relationships via proactive outreach, customer data capture and VIP retention activities to grow loyalty and repeat business.
- Supervise operational tasks including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, bank deposits, register operations and key-holding duties.
- Ensure inventory integrity by processing POS transactions, managing transfers/receiving/shipments/repairs/damages and maintaining an organized stockroom.
- Support recruitment, onboarding and ongoing development; provide performance feedback and act as an advocate for team development.
- Champion omni-channel initiatives and virtual selling (including live-streaming), and promote brand-safe social media engagement.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a retail service environment in a management or floor leadership capacity; luxury or premium retail preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to confidently lead and engage on the sales floor.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Social media literacy and familiarity with omni-channel/virtual selling tools and clienteling systems.
- Ability to perform physical duties of the role (lift at least 25 lbs regularly, up to 50 lbs occasionally) and work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
Skills
Experience
At least 2+ years in a retail service environment in a supervisory, floor leadership or management role; prior experience in luxury or premium retail strongly preferred. A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; combination of education and experience considered.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 17 to USD 27.75 per hour.
