Role & Responsibilities
- Lead by example on the sales floor to drive personal and team sales performance; analyze KPIs and implement best practices to improve sales productivity and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain client relationships through proactive outreach, data capture and kate spade service standards to drive repeat business and VIP retention.
- Coach, mentor and evaluate sales associates; support recruitment, onboarding and ongoing training to grow team capability.
- Oversee daily store operations and compliance: opening/closing procedures, cash handling, bank deposits, register operations, key-holding and securing the facility.
- Manage inventory integrity and stockroom organization: receiving, transfers, shipments, repairs and damage processing to ensure product availability on the sales floor.
- Activate omni-channel initiatives and virtual selling (including live-stream shopping); promote brand-safe social engagement and awareness of platform trends.
- Model kate spade service behaviors and foster an inclusive, equitable culture that empowers the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a retail service environment in a management or floor leadership role; luxury or premium retail preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and provide clear feedback.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Familiarity with POS operations, inventory processes, clienteling systems and omni-channel/virtual selling tools.
- Social media literacy and awareness of platform trends; ability to represent the brand appropriately online.
- Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and safely navigate the sales floor and stockroom.

At least 2 years of supervisory or floor leadership experience in a retail environment; experience in luxury or premium retail is preferred. A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
