Kate Spade New York seeks a Temporary Retail Stylist in Woodbury Common Premium Outlets, New York. $15–$24.25/hour, part-time with flexible schedule.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen and ask insightful questions to understand customer needs and preferences
- Provide personalized styling advice, suggest complementary add-ons, and create complete looks
- Showcase multiple styling options and encourage customers to explore new styles and expressions of personal aesthetic
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience
- Reinforce customer choices and build loyalty by inviting customers to return
- Drive sales results through authentic customer connections and compelling brand storytelling
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, merchandise presentation, and POS transactions
- Demonstrate awareness of social media trends and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- Participate in honest, constructive feedback exchanges with team members and management
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team setting
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, busy seasons, and high-traffic retail days including public holidays
- English proficiency or local language proficiency per market
- Physical capability to work a flexible, customer-responsive schedule
Skills
Experience
Prior experience in a retail environment is required. Experience in luxury retail, fashion styling, or premium lifestyle brands is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail or fashion training is a plus.

The successful candidate will be located in Woodbury, New York, USA, with easy access to New York City.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
