Role & Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and confidently while demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand individual customer needs and preferences
- Provide personalized styling advice, suggest complementary add-ons, and curate complete looks tailored to each customer
- Showcase multiple ways to wear products through creative merchandising and storytelling to encourage exploration of new styles
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and maintain operational excellence during checkout transactions
- Maintain stockroom organization and ensure sales floor presentation meets brand standards
- Work flexibly across nights, weekends, busy seasons, and high-traffic retail days including public holidays
- Build and reinforce customer relationships by celebrating purchase choices and inviting repeat visits
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively within a team setting
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omnichannel and virtual selling techniques
- English language proficiency
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly, up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Physical capability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver the sales floor and stockroom
Skills
Experience
Prior experience working in a retail environment with demonstrated professional selling skills and customer engagement.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Workplace
This position is based in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada, within easy reach of Toronto.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17.60 to CAD 22 per hour.
