Kate Spade is hiring a Part-Time Retail Stylist (Temporary Associate) in Vacaville, CA at Vacaville Premium Outlets. Hourly pay $15.00–$19.50.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Welcome and build rapport with guests; provide confident, individualized styling advice that aligns products to customers’ aesthetics and lifestyles.
  • Curate complete looks and suggest add-ons to increase basket size while demonstrating deep product knowledge across categories.
  • Employ visual creativity to showcase multiple ways to wear products and educate customers on styling versatility.
  • Convert interaction into sales through consultative selling, storytelling and a seamless checkout experience at POS.
  • Maintain operational standards on the sales floor and in the stockroom, including inventory organization and loss-prevention best practices.
  • Support omni-channel initiatives by learning and applying virtual/omnichannel selling techniques and social media engagement.
  • Perform routine physical tasks required by retail operations (lifting, merchandise handling, merchandising and store upkeep).

Qualifications

  • Proven professional selling skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Prior experience in a retail environment is required.
  • Comfortable working a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Social media awareness and willingness to adopt omni/virtual selling techniques.
  • Ability to regularly lift at least 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks on the sales floor and in the stockroom.

Experience

Previous retail sales experience demonstrating successful customer engagement and transactional competence. Experience advising customers on styling or building outfits is highly desirable.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
