Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, build rapport and demonstrate authoritative product knowledge across categories.
- Listen actively and ask targeted questions to understand customer needs and lifestyle, then provide personalised styling advice.
- Create and present complete looks, suggest complementary items and use creative merchandising to showcase multiple ways to wear products.
- Drive sales through storytelling, customer education and effective add-on recommendations; guide customers through a seamless checkout experience.
- Maintain operational excellence: manage POS transactions, organise the stockroom, receive and process inventory, and uphold visual standards.
- Adopt omnichannel selling techniques including virtual selling and social media outreach to engage customers beyond the sales floor.
- Provide and receive constructive feedback; contribute to a collaborative team environment and support store goals.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable professional selling skills and exceptional interpersonal communication.
- Prior retail experience in a customer-facing environment.
- Comfort with POS systems and basic stockroom procedures; ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced retail setting.
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni/virtual selling techniques.
- Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, high‑traffic retail days and public holidays.
- Ability to lift regularly at least 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), climb, bend and manoeuvre on the sales floor and stockroom.

Experience
Prior experience working in retail or a customer-facing sales environment is required; experience in fashion or lifestyle retail is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; coursework or training in fashion, merchandising or retail is a plus.

The successful candidate will be located in Tulare, California, USA, with easy access to Fresno.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
