Role & Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and establish rapport; assess clients’ needs through active listening and targeted questions.
- Provide personalised styling advice and create complete looks that integrate Kate Spade product categories.
- Drive sales through storytelling, suggest appropriate add-ons and guide customers through purchase decisions.
- Operate POS systems, ensure accurate transactions and maintain a smooth checkout experience.
- Maintain operational excellence: organise the sales floor and stockroom, receive and replenish inventory, and uphold visual merchandising standards.
- Support omnichannel selling initiatives, including virtual appointments and social-media-driven customer engagement.
- Deliver follow-up and relationship-building actions that encourage repeat visits and long-term client loyalty.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable professional selling skills with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior retail experience; experience in fashion or lifestyle retail preferred.
- Comfortable using POS systems and maintaining organised stockroom practices.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, peak retail periods and public holidays.
- Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs; able to climb, bend and manoeuvre on the sales floor.

Prior experience in a retail environment is required; background in fashion, accessories, or lifestyle retail and direct styling experience is preferred but not mandatory. No specific years mandated.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
