The Retail Stylist advises customers on product selection and personal styling, supports sales through customer connections and storytelling, and maintains stockroom and point-of-sale operations. This is a part-time temporary position with a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, busy season, high-traffic retail days, and public holidays.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers confidently and warmly, demonstrating strong product knowledge.
  • Listen actively and ask thoughtful follow-up questions to understand customer needs.
  • Offer styling advice, recommend complementary products, and create complete looks.
  • Show customers creative ways to wear products and encourage them to explore new styles.
  • Guide customers through purchase decisions and provide a seamless checkout experience.
  • Affirm customers’ choices and encourage them to return.
  • Drive sales results through strong customer connections and storytelling.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the brand and product attributes across all categories.
  • Maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organization and point-of-sale transactions.
  • Give and receive feedback honestly and constructively.

Qualifications

  • Professional selling skills and exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Previous experience in a retail environment.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and collaborate in a team setting.
  • Social media awareness and willingness to learn omnichannel and virtual selling techniques.
  • English proficiency or proficiency in the local language, as applicable to the market.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, busy season, high-traffic retail days, and public holidays.
  • Ability to regularly lift at least 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs, and to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom.
