Kate Spade seeks a part-time Retail Stylist in San Antonio, TX (North Star Mall) to deliver styling, sales and client service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage customers with warmth and assured product knowledge; cultivate long-term client relationships through attentive service.
- Conduct needs-based discovery and provide personalised styling advice to create complete looks across categories.
- Recommend add-ons and complementary items, using storytelling to drive conversion and average transaction value.
- Execute seamless point-of-sale transactions and ensure exceptional checkout experiences.
- Maintain operational excellence: merchandise presentation, stockroom organisation and accurate inventory handling.
- Adopt omni-channel selling techniques, including virtual selling and social media engagement to extend customer reach.
- Work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including nights, weekends, high-traffic periods and public holidays.
- Perform physical tasks as required: regularly lift 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs; bend, climb and manoeuvre across sales floor and stockroom.
Qualifications
- Proven professional selling skills with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior experience in a retail environment; experience with fashion or lifestyle brands is advantageous.
- Comfortable multitasking and prioritising in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with social media and a willingness to learn omni-channel/virtual selling practices.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holiday periods.
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the role, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
Skills
Experience
Previous retail experience is required, demonstrating effective customer service, sales performance and familiarity with merchandising and point-of-sale operations.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; coursework or certificates in fashion, merchandising or retail management is a plus.
