Kate Spade seeks a part-time Retail Stylist (Temporary Associate) in Rosemont, IL at Fashion Outlets of Chicago to deliver styling and sales excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and establish rapport; apply deep product knowledge to advise on styling and create cohesive looks.
- Conduct needs-based selling by asking insightful questions, listening actively, and recommending add-ons to complete outfits.
- Deliver an exceptional checkout experience, accurately process POS transactions and maintain visual presentation on the sales floor.
- Demonstrate creativity by showcasing multiple ways to wear products and encourage customers to explore new styles and categories.
- Maintain stockroom organization, perform inventory handling, and support merchandise replenishment.
- Support omni-channel selling initiatives, including virtual selling and social media engagement when required.
- Work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak retail periods and occasional holidays to meet operational needs.
- Perform physical tasks regularly: lift up to 25 lbs (frequently) and up to 50 lbs occasionally; climb, bend and manoeuvre around the sales floor and stockroom.
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior retail experience demonstrating customer-facing sales performance.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and collaborate effectively within a team.
- English proficiency (or local language proficiency as applicable in the market).
- Capacity to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and high-traffic retail days; able to meet physical demands of the role.

Experience
Prior experience in a retail environment with demonstrated professional selling skills; familiarity with omni-channel or virtual selling is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
