Kate Spade New York seeks a part-time Retail Stylist in Riverhead, NY (Tanger Outlets) to deliver client styling and drive sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and establish rapport while demonstrating thorough product knowledge across categories.
- Act as a trusted style advisor, listening to customer needs and composing complete looks that incorporate Kate Spade product DNA.
- Drive sales through consultative selling, storytelling, and recommending add-on items to increase average transaction value.
- Execute seamless point-of-sale transactions and maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organization and visual presentation.
- Employ creative merchandising and styling techniques to showcase multiple ways to wear key pieces and encourage repeat visits.
- Work a flexible schedule—including nights, weekends, busy season and public holidays—to meet store traffic demands.
- Provide and receive constructive feedback and collaborate closely with the store team to achieve collective targets.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable professional selling skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior retail experience in a customer-facing role.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Comfort with social media channels and willingness to learn omni-channel/virtual selling techniques.
- Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs; ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver on the sales floor and in the stockroom.

Experience
Previous experience in a retail environment is required, preferably in fashion or lifestyle brands with a focus on client-facing sales and styling.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
