Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and engage customers warmly, assess needs through active listening and thoughtful questions.
- Provide personalised styling advice and create complete looks that integrate Kate Spade product assortments.
- Drive sales through storytelling, suggest add‑ons and cross‑category recommendations to increase basket value.
- Execute efficient POS transactions and assist customers through a seamless checkout experience.
- Maintain operational standards including stockroom organisation, visual presentation and inventory handling.
- Adopt omni‑channel and virtual selling techniques and support social media engagement efforts.
- Manage physical tasks associated with the role, including regular lifting (up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs) and routine movement across the sales floor and stockroom.
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with strong interpersonal and verbal communication.
- Prior retail experience; luxury or branded retail background preferred.
- Comfortable working a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and peak retail periods.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Willingness to learn omni/virtual selling techniques and use social media for customer engagement.
- Ability to perform physical duties of the role, including lifting and manoeuvring stock.
Skills
Experience
Prior experience in a retail environment is required; experience with styling, luxury or lifestyle brands and demonstrated sales performance is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; retail, fashion or customer‑service training is a plus.

The successful candidate will be located in Petaluma, California, USA, with easy access to San Francisco.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
