Kate Spade (Garden State Plaza, Paramus NJ) seeks a part-time Retail Stylist to deliver personalised styling, sales and omni-channel service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and build rapport with guests; assess needs through active listening and insightful questions.
- Provide personalised styling advice and create complete looks that incorporate Kate Spade product across categories.
- Drive sales through storytelling, cross-sell and add-on recommendations while maintaining strong product knowledge.
- Execute POS transactions accurately and manage a seamless checkout experience.
- Maintain visual standards and operational excellence, including stockroom organisation and inventory replenishment.
- Adopt omni-channel selling techniques (virtual appointments, online selling) and engage customers via social media when appropriate.
- Work a flexible schedule to support peak trading periods, nights, weekends and holidays; safely handle merchandise (regular lifting up to 25 lbs, occasional up to 50 lbs).
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior retail experience demonstrating customer-facing results.
- Comfortable with omni-channel and virtual selling methods; social media awareness.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Capacity to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and high-traffic retail days.
Skills
Experience
Previous retail experience required; demonstrable history of driving sales through customer engagement and styling is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
