Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and engage guests with confidence, delivering informed product knowledge and a welcoming in‑store experience.
- Conduct consultative styling sessions to discover customer needs and assemble complete looks across categories.
- Recommend add‑ons and complementary items through storytelling and visual merchandising to drive sales.
- Execute POS transactions and ensure a seamless checkout process while maintaining operational excellence on the sales floor.
- Maintain stockroom organization, assist with visual presentation, and support inventory handling and replenishment.
- Adapt selling approach to omni‑channel and virtual interactions; support social media‑driven customer engagement when required.
- Provide constructive feedback and participate in team communication to improve customer experience and store performance.
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior retail experience in a customer‑facing role.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Comfort with omni/virtual selling techniques and social media as a customer engagement channel.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Ability to routinely lift at least 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
Skills
Experience
Prior experience in a retail environment is required, with demonstrated customer‑facing selling ability and familiarity with store operations, inventory handling, and POS systems. Experience adapting to omni‑channel selling and driving results through personalized client interactions is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
