Kate Spade New York Retail Stylist (seasonal, part-time) in New Orleans, LA. Assist customers with styling and product selection. $15.00–$19.25/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently, demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs and preferences
- Provide expert styling advice, suggest complementary add-ons, and create complete coordinated looks
- Showcase creative ways to wear products and encourage customers to explore new styles and aesthetics
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience via POS systems
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices, inviting repeat visits and building brand loyalty
- Drive sales results through strong customer connections and compelling brand storytelling
- Maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organization, inventory management, and transaction accuracy
- Give and receive feedback constructively and collaboratively within the store team
- Work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and peak retail periods to meet business demands
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team setting
- English language proficiency (or local language proficiency per market)
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and busy retail periods
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally; ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
