Kate Spade — Retail Stylist (Muse) in London. Part-time role advising customers, styling looks and driving sales at the O2 Outlet store.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome customers with warmth and product expertise; build rapport and elicit style preferences through active listening and insightful questioning.
- Provide personalised styling advice and compose complete looks—propose add-ons and multiple ways to wear product to increase basket size.
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience using POS systems.
- Maintain operational standards including stockroom organisation, inventory replenishment and visual presentation.
- Drive sales through storytelling, product knowledge and sustained client engagement; invite customers to return and support loyalty.
- Adopt omni-channel and virtual selling approaches as required; participate in store events and high-traffic trading periods.
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior experience in a retail environment.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Social media awareness and a willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques.
- Availability to work a flexible retail schedule including nights, weekends, busy seasons and public holidays.
Skills
Experience
Prior retail experience is required. Experience with styling or within a fashion/luxury brand is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in retail or fashion is advantageous.
