Kate Spade in Leesburg, VA is hiring a part‑time Temporary Associate (Retail Stylist) at Leesburg Corner Premium Outlets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage guests with warmth and confidence, demonstrating thorough product knowledge.
- Conduct consultative styling conversations to understand customers’ tastes and suggest complete looks and add‑on items.
- Use creative merchandising and outfit-building techniques to demonstrate multiple ways to wear products and inspire exploration of new styles.
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout using the POS system.
- Drive sales through storytelling and strong customer relationships; encourage repeat visits and brand loyalty.
- Maintain operational excellence on the sales floor and in the stockroom, including merchandising, inventory organization and loss-prevention practices.
- Provide and receive constructive feedback; collaborate with team members to meet store targets and service standards.
- Work a flexible schedule — nights, weekends, peak season and holidays — and perform routine physical tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, climbing).
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with excellent interpersonal and verbal communication.
- Prior retail experience in a customer‑facing role.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and contribute constructively within a team environment.
- Social media awareness and eagerness to adopt omni‑channel and virtual selling techniques.
- English proficiency appropriate for the U.S. retail environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and high‑traffic retail periods.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and perform physical duties on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
