Role & Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and establish rapport; listen and ask targeted questions to assess customer needs and preferences.
  • Provide personalised styling advice and assemble complete looks that integrate Kate Spade products across categories.
  • Drive sales through storytelling and product knowledge, recommending add‑ons to increase transaction value.
  • Demonstrate multiple ways to wear and use products to inspire exploration of new styles.
  • Manage transactions and maintain operational standards at the point of sale (POS).
  • Maintain stockroom organisation, replenish sales floor inventory and support visual merchandising efforts.
  • Deliver seamless omnichannel customer service, including virtual selling and social media engagement when required.
  • Provide and receive constructive feedback to continuously improve individual and team performance.
  • Work a flexible schedule—including nights, weekends, holidays and peak retail periods—to meet business needs.
  • Perform physical tasks as required (regularly lift ~25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs; climb, bend and manoeuvre on the sales floor).

  • Demonstrable professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Prior retail experience, preferably in fashion, accessories or lifestyle categories.
  • Proven ability to multitask, prioritise and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Comfortable with social media and willing to develop omnichannel/virtual selling techniques.
  • Flexible availability to cover peak trading hours and seasonal demand.
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the role, including regular lifting and stockroom duties.
