Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage guests with warmth and confident product knowledge to build rapport and trust.
- Perform personalised styling consultations, assemble complete looks, and suggest complementary items to increase basket value.
- Actively listen and ask probing questions to understand customer needs and translate those into tailored recommendations.
- Demonstrate creative styling techniques to showcase multiple ways to wear products and inspire customers to try new styles.
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure accurate, efficient point-of-sale (POS) transactions and checkout.
- Maintain operational excellence: organise stockroom, execute merchandise replenishment, and support inventory processes.
- Drive sales results through storytelling and sustained customer relationships, inviting repeat visits.
- Give and receive constructive feedback to support store performance and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior experience working in a retail environment; demonstrated track record of meeting sales goals preferred.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omnichannel/virtual selling techniques.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, busy seasons and public holidays.
- Ability to lift regularly 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
Skills
Experience
Prior retail sales experience is required; demonstrated selling skills and customer-facing experience preferred. Experience with styling or fashion advisory roles and familiarity with omnichannel retail is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
