Kate Spade (Arundel Mills, Hanover, MD) seeks a Retail Stylist — part-time role delivering personalised styling and sales at Kate Spade New York.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Greet and engage customers warmly, uncovering needs through active listening and thoughtful questions.
  • Provide personalised styling advice and create complete looks that integrate Kate Spade products across categories.
  • Drive sales through storytelling, suggest relevant add-ons, and guide customers to purchase decisions.
  • Deliver seamless POS transactions and maintain operational excellence on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
  • Demonstrate multiple ways to wear and use product to inspire repeat visits and deepen client relationships.
  • Support omni-channel selling initiatives and adopt virtual selling techniques when required.

Qualifications

  • Proven professional selling skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Prior retail experience, preferably in fashion, accessories, or lifestyle categories.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, high-traffic days and public holidays.
  • Capable of regular lifting up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), and performing physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and climbing.
  • Comfortable receiving and providing constructive feedback and collaborating within a team.

Experience

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
