Kate Spade New York — Part-time Retail Stylist (Temporary Associate) in Halton Hills (Toronto Premium Outlets).
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver warm, confident guest service and build authentic relationships to drive conversion and loyalty.
- Provide personalised styling advice and compose complete looks, demonstrating deep product knowledge across categories.
- Use creative merchandising and outfit-building to showcase multiple ways to wear product and increase average transaction value.
- Execute smooth point-of-sale transactions and ensure operational excellence on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
- Adopt omni-channel selling techniques, including virtual consultations and social media engagement to support revenue goals.
- Support inventory management: receiving, replenishment, organisation and occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including nights, weekends, peak retail periods and holidays.
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior experience in a retail environment; demonstrated ability to meet sales targets is preferred.
- Comfort with omni-channel retail methods and willingness to learn virtual selling tools and techniques.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and collaborate effectively within a team.
- English proficiency (or local language proficiency as required by market) and a customer-centric demeanour.
- Physical ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs; ability to climb, bend and kneel on the sales floor.
Skills
Experience
Prior retail experience is required; candidates should demonstrate professional selling skills and a track record of delivering exceptional customer service. Experience with omni-channel or virtual selling is an asset.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary study in fashion, retail or a related discipline is a plus.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Halton Hills, Ontario, Canada, with easy access to Toronto.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17.60 to CAD 22 per hour.
