Kate Spade New York is hiring a Part-time Retail Stylist (Temporary Associate) in Fort Worth, TX — $15.00–$19.50/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage guests with warmth and confident product knowledge; build rapport and discover customer needs through active listening and probing questions.
- Provide personalised styling advice, assemble complete looks and suggest complementary items to increase basket size and customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrate multiple ways to wear and integrate Kate Spade product into customers’ wardrobes, using creativity and storytelling to drive conversion.
- Execute POS transactions accurately and ensure a seamless purchase experience, including checkout and any post‑sale follow-up.
- Maintain operational excellence on the sales floor and in the stockroom: merchandising, inventory organization and replenishment.
- Support sales targets through consistent customer follow‑up, loyalty/invite enrolment and by reinforcing reasons for return visits.
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exemplary interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior retail experience; demonstrated comfort with customer-facing sales and styling.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, peak retail periods and public holidays.
- Capacity for regular physical activity on the sales floor and stockroom, including lifting up to 25 lbs routinely (up to 50 lbs occasionally).
- English proficiency (or local market language where applicable).
Skills
Experience
Prior experience in a retail environment is required, with a track record of customer-facing selling and styling. Experience using POS systems and executing merchandising standards is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
