Kate Spade hiring a Retail Stylist (part-time) in Ellenton, FL — client-facing stylist role at Ellenton Premium Outlets, $15–$19.50/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage guests with warmth and confident product knowledge; act as a trusted advisor to understand customers’ needs and personal style.
- Deliver personalised styling recommendations, assemble complete looks and suggest complementary items to increase average transaction value.
- Demonstrate multiple ways to wear and use product to inspire exploration and repeat visits.
- Execute point-of-sale transactions and maintain high standards of operational excellence on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
- Drive sales through storytelling and strong customer connections; meet or exceed store performance goals.
- Maintain stockroom organization, assist with visual merchandising and inventory replenishment.
- Adopt omni-channel and virtual selling techniques, including social media awareness to support remote clienteling.
- Perform physical tasks as required (regularly lift up to 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs) and work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a retail environment with demonstrable selling skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities; strong customer-service orientation.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and collaborate effectively in a team setting.
- Comfort with social media and a willingness to learn omni-channel/virtual selling tools and techniques.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including peak retail periods and public holidays.

Experience
Prior retail experience is required; demonstrated track record of selling, client engagement or styling is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or coursework in fashion, styling or visual merchandising is a plus.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
