Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly, establish rapport, and demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge across categories.
- Conduct consultative client conversations to discover customer needs and deliver tailored styling advice and complete looks.
- Curate and present multiple ways to wear and pair products to inspire purchase and drive add-on sales.
- Execute seamless point-of-sale transactions and guide customers through purchase decisions to ensure an exceptional checkout experience.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards on the sales floor and ensure stockroom organization and inventory accuracy.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets through storytelling, clienteling and proactive follow-up.
- Adopt omni-channel and virtual selling techniques, including social media engagement as appropriate to market strategies.
- Provide and receive constructive feedback; contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- Perform physical tasks required for retail operations, including regular lifting up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), bending, climbing and stockroom maneuvering.
- Work a flexible schedule—nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays—to meet business needs.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior retail sales or customer service experience in a fashion or lifestyle environment.
- Proven ability to multitask, prioritize and collaborate within a team.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic inventory/stockroom procedures.
- Comfort with social media and willingness to learn omni-channel/virtual selling methods.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and peak retail periods; ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
