Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and engage guests warmly; assess customer needs through active listening and thoughtful questioning.
- Provide personalised styling advice and create complete looks that integrate Kate Spade product across categories.
- Drive sales through consultative selling, storytelling and suggesting complementary items to increase basket size.
- Operate the point-of-sale, ensure accurate transactions and deliver a seamless checkout experience.
- Maintain operational excellence: organise the stockroom, replenish floor sets and support inventory processes.
- Use creativity to demonstrate multiple ways to wear and use products and to inspire repeat visits.
- Support omni-channel initiatives, including virtual selling and social engagement, to meet customer needs.
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior retail experience; luxury or specialty retail and styling experience preferred.
- Comfortable multitasking and prioritising in a fast-paced, team-oriented retail environment.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, peak seasons and holidays.
- Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), and to climb, bend and maneuver on the sales floor.

Experience
Prior experience in a retail environment is required; experience in styling, luxury or specialty retail and omni-channel sales is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education or coursework in fashion, merchandising or retail is a plus.

The successful candidate will be located in Chesterfield, Missouri, USA, with easy access to St. Louis.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.25 per hour.
