Kate Spade — Retail Stylist (part-time, temporary) in Charlotte, NC. Customer-facing role delivering styling advice, sales and POS support.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage customers with warmth and authoritative product knowledge to build rapport and trust.
- Conduct discovery conversations and provide personalised styling advice to create complete looks and recommend add‑ons.
- Use creativity to demonstrate multiple ways to wear and combine products, showcasing category breadth.
- Drive sales through storytelling, relationship building and effective conversion at point of sale.
- Manage POS transactions accurately and maintain operational standards including stockroom organisation and visual merchandising.
- Support a seamless checkout and after‑sales experience, reinforcing customer choices to encourage return visits.
- Adapt to omni‑channel and virtual selling processes as required and assist with social commerce or remote clienteling when needed.
- Work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak retail periods and holidays; perform light to moderate physical tasks (lift up to 25 lbs regularly; up to 50 lbs occasionally).
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior retail experience in a customer‑facing role; luxury or fashion retail preferred.
