Kate Spade New York in Burnaby, BC seeks a Part-time Retail Stylist (Temporary Associate).
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage customers with confident, warm service and demonstrable product knowledge.
- Conduct needs-driven conversations to discover customer preferences and curate personalised looks.
- Provide styling advice, suggest complementary items and create complete outfits that integrate Kate Spade product categories.
- Use creative merchandising and storytelling to showcase multiple ways to wear products and drive conversion.
- Execute seamless POS transactions and support efficient checkout procedures.
- Maintain operational excellence: organise and replenish the sales floor and stockroom, assist with inventory and visual standards.
- Adopt omni-channel selling practices, including virtual selling and social media engagement, to extend the customer relationship beyond the store.
- Work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays; perform light to moderate physical tasks (regularly lift up to 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs).
Qualifications
- Proven retail selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior experience working in a retail environment; fashion or lifestyle retail experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritise and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Familiarity with social media and a willingness to develop omni-channel and virtual selling techniques.
- English proficiency (or proficiency in the local market language).

Experience
Previous experience in a retail environment is required; experience in fashion or lifestyle retail is preferred and advantageous for delivering elevated styling and customer service.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

This position is based in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada, within easy reach of Vancouver.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17.85 to CAD 21 per hour.
